GM Inspector Reports
On completion of a seed audit by the GM Inspectorate a detailed report is submitted to Defra PVS showing the names of varieties* imported and/or produced by the company and the assurances provided by the seed company for each seed lot or batch. Summaries of the audit reports submitted to Defra of seed marketed or available for marketing in the UK are published through this website.
*From the 2006/07 audit season onwards, summary reports list the Genus and species of crops marketed by a company, the names of individual varieties are not provided.
